The most popular name in Punjabi music world, Director Baljinder S Mahant is a multi – talented personality who has been appreciated for his work in Punjabi Film Industry. He was born in a Sikh family on 8 .Sep.1975 at Chandigarh. He earned bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, his affirmed urge to do something ‘different and exciting’ saw him jump into the world of Punjabi Media, where he spent 16 rewarding years with different media platforms. In year 2003, Baljinder S Mahant began his career with Footprints Media; he also started with an acting school simultaneously. In year 2006, Baljinder S Mahant launched JOSH TV, where he conceptualized, designed FPC, shows structure & successfully launched Bhojpuri GEC Satellite channel. He also wrote & produced ANJAN THEME SONG.

While still midway through his course, In 2008 He joined Divya Channel as a vice president. His contribution has played a vital role in making it a successful channel in Punjab. Divya is India’s first spiritual music channel which introduced Divya Gurbani, a theme song feat.10 different raagis. Thereafter, he gained a huge recognition for writing and producing Divya Theme Song. In 2009, Baljinder S Mahant opened INSM this was an acting and personality development school. IT IS SAID WHEN YOUR PASSION AND PURPOSE ARE GREATER THAN YOUR FEARS AND EXCUSES ,YOU WILL FIND A WAY. Soon Baljinder S Mahant found his way. Before moving to the world of direction and achieved his goals, He had an established record of accomplishment through successful set up at 9xm Tashan. He not not made concepts for the channel but also brought shows like 9xm Star, Tashan Da Peg, Tashan Nites and Tashan Star into light.

He also generated revenues for the channel in the Punjabi speaking market. So, this adds as another feather to his cap.
